Project-GC Tutorial - 60 mins

Project-GC is a web-based tool that provides information on Geocaches and Geocachers.  It offers an abundance of finding and hiding stats, lets you search for caches by many criteria, including comparisons between cachers, manage your FTFs, identify bad logs, forgotten favorites, check challenges, and much more.  The premium (pay) version also includes route planner, multi-map compare, virtual GPS (shopping cart for caches), custom filters, email notification and more.  This tutorial assumes you have no previous experience and will give you a taste of what project-GC has to offer.

Juniorwoodchuckhuey is an experienced Geocacher who has been actively participating in the game since 2007. Over the years, he has gained extensive knowledge and skills in the sport, and he has hidden more than 300 caches, making him a notable figure in the geocaching community. His geocaches have garnered a lot of attention from other Geocachers, and according to Project-GC, his caches have received over 3600 favorite points. This is a remarkable achievement, as favorite points are a way for Geocachers to show appreciation for caches that they find interesting or challenging. In addition to his Geocaching activities, Juniorwoodchuckhuey is also actively involved in managing the ANSG website, which is a platform that provides Geocachers with information, tools, and resources to enhance their geocaching experience. It is worth noting that his passion for numbers and statistics goes beyond Geocaching. In his day job, he works as a statistician, which explains his keen interest in analyzing and interpreting data related to Geocaching. Overall, Juniorwoodchuckhuey's extensive experience, knowledge, and passion for Geocaching make him a valuable asset to the Geocaching community. His contributions through his caches, website management, and statistical analysis have helped to enhance the Geocaching experience for many Geocachers around the world.

Lisa's frustration with the lack of effective and safe tick repellent products on the Canadian market led her to create AtlanTick. The company collaborates with scientists all over the world to ensure that their products are based on the latest research and technology and are earth-friendly. While her company provides solutions, Lisa's main personal focus is on educating moms and dads, pet owners, and outdoor enthusiasts about the risks of tick-borne diseases and providing them with the knowledge and tools to stay safe. York Sunbury Search & Rescue - 30 mins

An individual can go missing anytime, anywhere, regardless of their age, experience, or condition. People do not go out expecting to get lost, but in our province of dense forest, it is easy to get turned around or take a wrong path.  When an individual is reported missing, time is a crucial factor. Every hour a person is lost, chances of survival decrease.

By delivering services like Project Lifesaver and AdventureSmart programs like Hug A Tree, which focus on the needs of those most at risk for wandering, we hope to reduce the frequency and severity of searches.

Thanks for your selections !
